Hilary Beard educates people through writing, speaking/training and executive coaching. She is the co-author of six books for young adults, including “The Burning: Black Wall Street and the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921” and “Reaching for the Moon: The Autobiography of NASA Mathematician Katherine Johnson”; in addition to “Promises Kept: Raising Black Boys to Succeed in School and in Life'' and “Health First: The Black Woman’s Wellness Guide” — each of which won an NAACP Image Award. Hilary is an honors graduate of Princeton University. She is from Cleveland, Ohio, and lives in Philadelphia, PA.
