Alisha Keig

Alisha Keig is an anti-racist educator and social justice advocate who has worked in education for eight years. Alisha started her career in education through Teach for America Nashville Chattanooga and was a classroom leader for three years teaching English Learners. She transitioned into a district leadership role that focused on creating and delivering high quality, rigorous DEI curriculum to teachers, school leaders, and district staff. Alisha also guided district-wide equity and inclusion initiatives, such as spearheading the first Equity and Diversity Summit and leading the redesign of the district’s Culture and Climate Survey.
